The Alexander Technique is a very gentle, non-intrusive hands-on technique. It is normally taught on a one-to-one basis.
The teacher gives guidance, both verbally and physically, encouraging the body and mind to experience moving in a different way.
It teaches us how to 'use' ourselves to best advantage in all daily activities. We do this by learning how to stop interfering with our natural functioning.
